I have a rather old compound bow from my father, but it's not working for me. It's not comfortable somehow, so I decided to upgrade my equipment a bit, since I'm planing to go deer hunting at the first opportunity. I was wondering if you have any suggestions about what would be the best thing to go for. Personally, I had my eye on this little thing. It seems light enough. What are your thoughts about it?

That will do the job. Along with everything else out there. Lots of really nice bows out there now days.
Try before you buy. And try as many bows as you can. 3.) DParker - 02/07/2014

I'm not so sure. These are the specs I was able to track down on it:

\tDraw Weight: \t15 - 25 lbs

\tDraw Length: \tAdjustable 18.5" - 30"

\tLet-Off: \t0%

It looks like a fun little backyard shooter, but I don't think I'd hunt anything larger than a raccoon with it. 4.) Definitely not enough poundage.

A quick look at Cabelas shows 3 youth bows that will adjust up to hunting weight. They range from $170 to $350. The Barnett vortex, Bear Apprentice and Diamond infinite edge.
