I had a boar charge me one time after I took one of his buddies down. Fortunately I saw him coming from a good distance and was able to get a shot off that, while it missed completely, scared him into changing his mind and running away.

That would be a lot cooler, but I'm too lazy to carry anything that heavy...and they're really hard to conceal.
