Im a bit of a tinkerer, and I cant sit idle for too long, so I think Im gonna try my hand at building a bow press!

Im going to use a square tube jack from Harbor freight as the base I think, and build it similar to this one

but I will probably weld instead of bolt it.

Im talking to a guy on archery talk about just buying the actual press fingers, but I may just end up making those or having some one make me some too.

Anyone have any advice or comments?
