Well after tomorrow I am off for the next nine days, the Pa bow season this year is going one week later into November then last and I am hoping to see some good action, last year it was just starting to heat up when the season ended so I am hoping to put a doe and a buck on the ground this year and I have a few nice bucks on camera.

Anybody else in Pa taking this last week of?

Sure am. I'm struggling to focus here at work today, my mind is totally on next week. I'm in the stand tomorrow, will scout and hang a few stands Sunday, then park my butt in stands all next week.

I agree, last year was just starting to get good when the season ended. Hopefully, this year will hit it about right.

This year I have NO daytime pictures of decent bucks. All activity has been at night to this point. I swear they're getting more cautious each year, and the extra 50,000-60,000 bowhunters we have now (thanks to making crossbows legal for all) doesn't help any.

Way more pressure in the State Forest the last couple years compared with the decades of solitude I've been enjoying.

Also, just read, crossbow kills now make up 15% of the entire buck harvest, and over 50% of the archery buck harvest.

So easy, a rifle hunter can do it.:td::td:

you need to stop worrying about youre trail camer's and hunt like the romans did... with a crossbow..

most people are afraid of crossbows and probally are afraid of most any other thing there not sure of.

Luv2 you need to conquer youre fears of a crossbow and join the brotherhood of the nation of crossbow hunters..i'm trying to get the drury brothers on making a 'dream season" crossbow.. if anyone can do it... it'll be nate and matt, the drury brothers..

..if you can kill a decent size buck with a crossbow. 120inch give or take in youre state.. I will send you and two family members 2 tickets each to ironman 4..plus popcorn and soda's..
