I'm normally not big on posting insignificant details of personal family life, but for some reason this gave me a good chuckle (caught me at just the right time, I think) and thought I'd share...
My son is currently working a part-time gig as a cashier at Target while he's in college. Target has one of those "Reward Card" dohickies that you apply for and use every time you shop there (accumulating points for stuff, discounts or something-or-other...I don't know the details). On that note, my son posted the following to his Facebook page late last night:
Had a customer tell me that the she figured out the catch to our rewards card tonight. Apparently "the internet" told her that Target sells people's Social Security card info to the federal government... ya know... the same federal government that gave her a Social Security card. Thinking is hard.
One of his "friends" wanted to know if he pointed out the sale on tin foil bulk packs. 2.) Swamp Fox - 10/18/2013
So you're saying it's out of the question that the federal government could find a reason to buy information about us that it issued to us in the first place?
Maybe the Obamas' dogs ate the spiral notebook where they keep all this stuff... I don't know....It could happen... :-) 3.) DParker - 10/19/2013
