well dropped a doe tonight at 36 yards. shebwas quartering away. she ran approximately 70 yards and crashed. was in the stand for under an hour. it was +28 celcius when I arrived to my hunting siite. she's already skinned and hanging at the butcher..... first time ive ever taken one on opening day....

As soon as we have a kill from someone who's on a team already, I'll start an Official Kill Thread so all the kill reports can be listed in one place.

I don't want to do it before then, though.

We'll have to keep track of the stray Canuck on the side in the meantime...

Still bucks only for a while: Does come in Sept. 15 with doe tags...Doe days start Oct 5, I think it is.

Gun season opened on Sept. 1 in my zone, will open Sept 15 in Zone 4 which I hunt every once in a while.

Bow season was slow, despite the often-cool weather. Have seen some good rifle kills, though, from Aug. 15 openers.

thanks guys... yes the pic sucked... forgot the tripod and camera. so cell is All I had. sitting in a hew stand right now... still pretty warm out but cooler than the first night. target tonight... bull moose or 160" or better buck. everything else gets a free pass

Took Last week off to chase elk, but elk and weather dint cooperate... Hopefully find a big ole bull.
