I distinctly remember rocking out to Locomotive Breath at a school dance...I played a mean air guitar. Ask anyone. Of course, it was hard to find girls who wanted to dance to it, LOL...

Yeah, but there was just an undeniable uber-coolness about anyone who could turn the flute into not just a heavy rock-and-roll instrument...but the [I]featured[/I] instrument.

Not to mention all the stupid...but completely believable to a 15 year-old...rumours about how Ian Anderson was a certified madman who they kept locked in a cage backstage, only letting him out long enough to perform.
