Speaking of mosquitoes, I got run out of my woods in SC on Monday while trying to stash some of my Florida haul until I get some time to put everything up.

If you've never seen a cloud of mosquitoes---literally, a [B]cloud[/B] of mosquitoes---you've never lived. Usually skeeters don't curb my enthusiasm as long as I'm moving or am up in the air, but these buggers were SWARMING on me and I had to scoot or be eaten alive.

We're 3.8 inches above normal for rainfall for the year at RDU airport and I'm about to go looking at lake levels.

Anybody know a website or a source for rainfall data and history for random places you might want to look at? My searches have always been hit or miss.

Another thunderstorm watch this afternoon into tonight is probably gonna keep me off the water today, but unfortunately the forecast doesn't look too encouraging any day in the next week. Of course, when I skip it doesn't storm, and when I do go I dodge lightning and high winds.

I've been trying to find an afternoon to fish all week and the dang weatherman is playing games with me. Really should be fishing in the mornings but haven't been able to get my act together to do that.

Right now we're under a thunderstorm watch and man, am I gonna be pissed if I don't go and it doesn't storm.

When I keel over, I'd rather it not be by lightning...Otherwise I wouldn't make such a big deal out of watching the weather, LOL.
