those were powerful commercials, especially for the time. if not, we wouldn't remember them.

I guess real Indians were hard to find in Hollywood back then, maybe because they were wiped out in the cowboy movies. must be another conspiracy thing there somewhere to have to use a Godfather cast wannabe.
