So, I lost my smartphone Monday or Tuesday last week, and it has not been magically reappeared. I blame early leprechauns.

Ironically, my phone is not smart enough to find its way back to me, or even call out for help locating its poor self. Even that dumb Timmy kid who kept falling down wells and abandoned mineshafts was smarter than that, and all he had was a hairy dog, forget a bunch of geeks slaving for Big Tech.

In the hope that my phone will eventually turn up, and since I will continue to pay for it for the next 18 or 30 months or something like that regardless, I have replaced it with a $6.66/month flip phone.

I know, right ... ? A devilishly good deal...Okay, maybe on second thought it's really $6.16, but it's the same basic idea in my head...

I'm getting used to toggling left, right, up and down again ... Plus texting is a lot more fun ... The feeling I get pushing a button to enter a letter or number is nearly orgasmic! Somebody stop me! :grin:

I put the lost phone on an inactive phone number that I already had. If it doesn't turn up shortly, I'll get another smart phone to replace it, I suppose ... :re:

In the meantime, though, I'm partying like it's 1999.:wink

I don't know why you want to hold a brick to your head just so Google can know where you are every minute of the day ...
