1.) Alex - 04/17/2013
NY took a while but were finally getting weather we can start doing the spring stuff in.
Grabbed a few camera phone shots this weekend. Wonder if anyone else is already planting? Boaris got a new 1/2 acre ridge pen to root up in. He's loving life and already putting back on the winter weight loss. Nutmeg munching on corn on our walk. Not sure if you can but brandy is up keeping an eye on boaris on his new ridge. They're both in the pic but way back. Farm loving the sun. One mans treasure is another mans pile of you know what :-) we we're sitting here while he was rooting and he decided to lean up against me in the sun, then down on his butt, then eventually down for a nap laying on leg... damn labrador. 2.) Pretty decent camera on that thing in good light. Not so good in low light though. But no camera phone is.
Nice on Alex , you are not looking for a cheap farm hand are you ?:wink
Oh everything thinks that's what they want until... My girls are looking forward to the hours mucking goat stalls this weekend. Spring cleanout in the barn is rough on the back and the nose :P 8.) Ventilator - 04/18/2013
This is a frame from an Astrolapse i shot two nights ago. The chimney/fireplace is from my grandfathers old home place. It was recently cleared around it for the first time in 25-30 years. The walnut tree grew right behind it. I was fortunate to be able to get a full moonset in the 3 hour session.

Got in a few rows of veggies just prior to the monsoons. Plan on doing the rest in rice.

I have other pigs we rotate through for freezer camp. Boaris's job is to make baby pigs and he has... We have 2 Sows that he services after they have their litters. So far he has made us close to 3 grand in piglets. I think he's earned he stay of execution, especially since he just did he twice a year job a couple of weeks ago :-) 15.) CHRIS - 04/19/2013

Oh he will go to freezer camp eventually. He's definitely not a pet. But right now he's worth far more in piglets than in sausage. :-) We keep other pigs for that. 18.) crookedeye - 04/20/2013
he better not! let him die like a king.. like we all want to go..telling him he's going to frezzer camp, wouldnt be right for boaris.
