Title says it all. Ill start off
I have a model 1 sales kit gun. 24" ss bull barrel with a Jared 2 stage adjustable match trigger.
My next with be a 6.5 Grendel with a 20" bull barrel on an ar platform or a 6.5 creedmore on an ar10 platform

How does your model 1 gun shoot? I have had mine for 6 years and have had no problems with it at all. I will shoot sub moa groups all day long but I have had alot of people say that their model 1 guns are running 2-3 inch groups at 100.

Had it for 2 years now and it shoots fine, sub moa groups with the right load and when I'm shooting well.

Haha yeah. My dad and brother have them also and both their guns shoot great so guys must be trying to get one hole groups with wolf.

Maybe, some are probably legit but that comes with all firearms. I learned long ago I'll probably never be good enough to match the performance my firearms are capable of but I sure have fun practicing.

Frankengun in 5.56/.223 assembled from parts mostly acquired from a variety of internet vendors (save for the High Standard lower, which came from a local gun show).

Entirely possible. Both my AR and my son's shoot great with just about any premium ammo, and especially well with the handloads I worked up for them (of course). But put a mag's worth of Silver Bear through them and the paper looks like you were shooting 00 buckshot from one of Joe Biden's duck/tactical-home-defense guns.

How well do yours handle with bulk American made? We've done ok with bulk Federal American Eagle but haven't gotten the chance to try the American Eagle "Tactical" or UMC.

I've never put any of the bulk stuff through it because it's all FMJ, and that's verboten at my local range (at least for rifle ammo....pistol FMJ is good-to-go).

I got it for my dad but when shooting hogs out of a truck it's nice to have on the driver side, slings brass out the window :laugh:

Sorta just getting into black guns, had allot of time to think about it and research and finally got building.
VLTOR MUR upper, VLTOR CASV rail system, Noveske adjustable gas block, Daniel Defense M4 barrel in 5.56, AAC flash hider mount for the SPR M4 silencer and a DPMS full auto bolt carrier.
I've been playing with it, brings big smiles! I didn't know what to go with for optics, this one is a fox gun for the most part. Found a Barska 3-9 illuminated reticle scope that works well so far.

Interesting never heard of a range banning FMJ, green tips yeah but not FMJ.

Yeah, lots of ranges do that (generally an insurance issue, rational or not), though many implement it in even stranger ways. For instance there's another place in D/FW that allows FMJ on their 50 yd rifle range, but not on their 100 yd. I have yet to hear an explanation for that one.

i dont have one yet but one very bad, i dont have it narrowed down to a specific brand. I lwould like to get sometihng by black rain ordanance, or adcor but thats too pricey prolly end up getting a bushmaster or armalite
