MacSween Haggis is Scotland's largest producer of haggis. A while back I responded to one of their FB posts, and my response (the one with the photo showing part of my wife across the table from me) made it into one of their online ads. I'm an international celebrity now. I'll let you all know if/when spots open up in my entourage.

That's how you roll.
3.) Swamp Fox - 01/13/2021
You spelled whiskey wrong ... :wink
That's prolly why they liked it. :-) Please tell me it hasn't been 2.5 years....Holy sheep's intestines! What am I doing with my life? 4.) DParker - 01/13/2021
I'd ask if I can expect to be swarmed by haggis groupies, but I'm not really sure I want to know. I think that's one of them on the right.
5.) DParker - 01/13/2021
Here you go Swampy. Everything ships from their warehouse somewhere in NC. Throw your own Burns Night Supper.

This is not to say I am not a fan of Robert Burns. In fact, one of his lines is in contention for my headstone:
The best-laid schemes of mice and men Go oft awry,
Of course, I reserve the right to use some of my own poetry ... :wink .... LOL 7.) DParker - 01/13/2021
There once was a lassie from Glasgow,
Whose Mum said "Don't let your ass go. With hips forty-three Your life it will be A bummer, as far as the lads go." 8.) Swamp Fox - 01/13/2021

Remember William Frye, the headstone guy?
I'm just going to drop this bookmark in here .... You know what's sad?
These covid lockdowns have probably driven all the haggis restaurants out of business... 11.) Swamp Fox - 01/13/2021

Yeah, most of them have taken to offering a vegetarian version...which strikes me as completely missing the point. But business is business, and you've got to try to sell to as wide an audience as you can..especially these days.

Greensboro isn't that far away... If I'm over there and think about it, I should swing by and give them a strong talkin'-to ...
Maybe even rough-talk 'em to straighten them out ... 14.) Swamp Fox - 01/13/2021
I can't believe I'm gonna stick up for haggis here, but this is how they're going to win:

Really? It's a great work of art and all but c'mon. DP can buy that huge purple elephant with one poem. Some of us slave for years with limericks, prose and haiku just to be able to 'maybe' get a squirt gun or a small ornament.
