Well, for some reason I'm not able to see/access the lamentations of the woman, but I'm imagining that it's some version of "He was such a good boy/child/man and this didn't have to happen."

The two people that they were questioning were uncooperative. They're more than likely just tired from a long day of honest work. I would doubt seriously if they have any involvement.
