Beside the dove opener and BBQ? :-)


Let's say a customer needs a manager over-ride at the register, and despite numerous attempts to find a manager, none appears. This is par for the course for this outfit. The customer is complaining, and begins to escalate. The cashier has nowhere to run, and sympathizes. She pulls one of her own receipts from her pocket, and highlights the Customer Service phone number on the receipt and advises the customer to call and report his experience. Regarding the under-staffing and non-responsiveness, she says, "All of us feel the same way."

The customer contacts Corporate HQ and relates his experience. He is not a happy camper. This gets back to the store manager, who forces the long-time cashier to choose between resigning or being terminated for airing dirty laundry.

I'm guessing the reason resignation was so forcefully encouraged is because firing her would have been wide open to a wrongful termination lawsuit.

What say ye?

Remember the S.A.T... test you took in school years ago? To see what profession you would seek out as an adult..mine came out as either being a plumber or picking up dog shit..they weren't very accurate...I became a roofer.
