I made a couple of archery target frames that you can break down easily and put in your car if you need to. Hang a bag and you are good to go. The bag you see is full of clothes, rags, etc. Has a velcro top. Pretty nifty.

Sure, they will withstand a tornado, but what about a hurricane?

And what's with the sheep in the background?

A while back I made a bag target/paper-tuning rack combo out of PVC pipe that I can break down and transport. If I had it to to over, I'd design it a little differently for stability and transport, but for a first attempt it works well enough.

It does look nervous, doesn't it? BC never told us that he's originally from Oklahoma.

Lol, When I was looking at those photos, I knew that would draw your attention. It's a little flower box, but sometimes I use it as a decoy.

So, what are the pros and cons of running the crossbar through the frame vs. using the U-bolts? ....

Just trying different designs. The A- frame model is very portable. The U-bolts clamp the bar down to the frame so it is stable. Without the U bolts the frame tilts. I tried running the bar through the wood and it didn't work too well. The other target is solid and has a cross brace so the bar not being locked down is no problem.

I'll post up a pic of my bow holder made out of pvc.

Jon will be shocked to know I started a PVC fishing cart a few years ago but haven't finished it ...

LOL

Nice. I especially like the camo paint job. I almost couldn't find it in the pic.

LOL ... I like it. It beats planting a tree in the middle of all that gravel and waiting for it to grow just so you can screw a hook into it ...

Shocking. Let me guess, it's in the back of the Bronco.:wink
