Whatsa Ramcat?

Ramcats are Rage-like broadheads. Supposedly the latest and greatest. Looks like a variation on a theme so I imagine the performance is also a variation on a theme.

Im hesitant to disagree with you Bob, however, ramcats are in no way like a rage broadhead. They have double edge blades to cut upon a reverse exit. They are also not a mechanical head. The blades do pivot forward on removal to prevent it from being classified as a barbed head. I have only killed one bear with them up to this point, but, it left a tremendous wound channel and blood trail. A sometimes tough thing to do on a thick fur, just out of hibernation, bear. They have a hydrofoil system built into the shape of the head that allows them to fly as good as any head ive ever seen, mechanical or otherwise. The only complaint i have with them, so far ,is you have to tighten the blades after every shot into a foam target. They do some serious damage to a target also. As for the head i retrieved after passing thru the bear, the blades were still intact and extremely tight. SO, i guess the blade loosening is only an issue on targets. Im using the Easton Injexion Deep Six system with Ramcats this year.

My cousin killed 3 deer with them last year. I really liked what I saw as far as wound channel and blood trail.
