I found it fascinating to watch this scrape being made, visited, and expanded by 7 different bucks in a 36 hour period. Notice the shape and size of the scrape at the beginning compared to what it looks like at the end.
When you walk by a scrape, you just never know how many deer may have created or visited it. I think I had maybe 2 more buck visits at this site for the remainder of Nov. and that was it. It only was captivating to them for about a 3 day period. 2.) Swamp Fox - 01/30/2018
Interesting. I think the only multi-visit scrape pictures I have show a bit longer period of interest, and one, two or at most three different bucks. Some doe visits.
Was that an old scrape location that you set a camera on deliberately, or did you start the scrape yourself? 3.) luv2bowhunt - 01/31/2018
I found the scrape on a scouting run on 10/28. There were a couple small scrapes scattered under some laurel bushes in a 30' x 30' area. The bucks started to hit it hard as soon as I hung the camera and it was pretty much left alone after 11/6. By the time they were done it went from a 12" x18" scrape to a 4' x 5' one.
I only remember 2 does pics at the scrape. |
