1.) bluecat - 10/26/2017
Over the years there have been some great TV commercials. Here is where you post your favorites. This is one makes my funny wheel getickle.
2.) Swamp Fox - 10/26/2017
Not that it's a greatest commercial, but here's why I posted: I've been trying for over a year to figure out the name of the song that starts at :13, and get a copy of the original. This version is not the one that gets played in stadiums every once in a while, and the song does have lyrics.
Any help? Forward this on if you know any whippersnappers and ask them. It's popular. Gets everybody up and dancing, LOL. I'll even take other versions without the name, if you know any. 3.) Swamp Fox - 10/26/2017
Speaking of dancing, this commercial sticks with me. Some sweet moves here, LOL. Wouldn't mind knowing the music for this, either.
4.) bluecat - 10/26/2017
Get a T-Mobile phone and you can listen to that sound constantly...
5.) Swamp Fox - 10/26/2017
"Tomorrow is over-rated." --- LOL

16.) bluecat - 10/27/2017
Although not TV commercials these Bud Light Real Men of Genius radio ads are among the funniest around.
http://budlight.whipnet.com/ 17.) bluecat - 10/27/2017
There is one I haven't been able to find. From memory, it is a Bud Light commercial where a cowboy is roping a lawyer. I remember the announcer saying "He took away your bass boat." Then they let him out of the shoot and the beer drinker says "Get him" and he is roped.
There is one by Lite Beer from Miller but I don't believe that is the correct one. Hopefully someone remembers it too. 18.) Swamp Fox - 10/27/2017
Found the Miller Lite commmerical. I don't remember that one here. Looked quickly for something from Bud but didn't see it.
You would like that one Swampy
:grin::dig::grin: 19.) bluecat - 10/27/2017

Shoulda put nail polish on the hand knocking ash off the cigar at the end ... LOL ... Missed opportunity. :-)
Maybe someone will update that commercial and do it today ... :pop: 25.) Swamp Fox - 10/27/2017
If you don't like these, there's something wrong with you. Know what I mean, Vern?
26.) Swamp Fox - 10/29/2017
If there's a better ad for a college or university, I don't know what it is:
I root for Ole Miss unless they're playing SC, but I have to give the Bulldogs props on this here. 27.) Swamp Fox - 10/29/2017

I'm with this old broad...at least when it comes to their Sweet Chili (great on grilled shrimp) and Buffalo (wings, duh) sauces. 36.) Swamp Fox - 12/14/2017
LOL ... I didn't know if anyone would know what I was talking about. :applause:
My mom used to carry around a jar of Postum everywhere she went. It didn't make her a Mormon, but then she wasn't shooting for that, LOL. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Postum So I have some sympathy for Hillary. I don't believe her when she denies pandering, but it's possible she could like hot sauce. Bill likes cigars. Everybody needs something. Of all the things a Clinton could carry around, hot sauce seems reasonable. I would carry a pepper shaker, because you can't find one in a lot of fast food places anymore, and the little paper packets drive me absolutely bananas. That doesn't mean I'm pandering to the pepper-American community, although if it got me a cushy job in politics, I might step up my game. 37.) Swamp Fox - 12/14/2017
Next time Tavis Smiley interviews Hillary, he should ask her to dump her purse on the table and then let's go looking for the hot sauce.
"That's a lot of white women." ---LOL Oh, wait: http://www.theblaze.com/news/2017/12/14/pbs-host-tavis-smiley-suspended-for-allegations-of-sexual-misconduct-he-vows-to-fight-back 38.) bluecat - 12/14/2017
I guess he's not so smiley now...
39.) Swamp Fox - 12/14/2017
Notice she didn't answer the question, but she got all her shots in ... Hit all the constituencies.
I'm with this old broad...at least when it comes to their Sweet Chili (great on grilled shrimp) and Buffalo (wings, duh) sauces.
Wings are too much trouble for me to get my head around, usually, but I'm interested in the other. I almost bought some to try a while ago. How does it compare to Tiger Sauce or even Pickapeppa, if you know those? If you all are out and about and ever see some Cackalacky sauce, btw, give it a whirl and let me know what you think. http://www.cackalacky.com/the-sauce 41.) DParker - 12/14/2017
Wings are too much trouble for me to get my head around, usually
Really? Really good wings are even easier to make than a good roux (I'm just sayin'), especially if you grill them.
, but I'm interested in the other. How does it compare to Tiger Sauce or even Pickapeppa, if you know those?
I've never had either of those, so I don't have a clue. Frank's is just a basic sweet-n-spicy sauce, but they get the ratio just right. It's not "hot" by any means. There's just enough heat and savory flavor to balance out the sugar.
If you all are out and about and ever see some Cackalacky sauce, btw, give it a whirl and let me know what you think. http://www.cackalacky.com/the-sauce
Sweet potato-based sauce? Interesting. I'll keep an eye out for it. 42.) Swamp Fox - 12/14/2017
Really? Really good wings are even easier to make than a good roux (I'm just sayin'), especially if you grill them.
I know, right? How hard is it to marinate something and maybe mop it once or twice? The fire-up-the grill-to-meat ratio just seems off to me.
I've never had either of those, so I don't have a clue. Frank's is just a basic sweet-n-spicy sauce, but they get the ratio just right. It's not "hot" by any means. I know that's not always how the game is played. :-)
Sweet potato-based sauce? Interesting.
The fire-up-the grill-to-meat ratio just seems off to me.
Yet another reason why I just smile when someone gives me crap about having a propane grill and smoker. "Firing up" either means turning a dial...and for the grill, also pushing a button. Whew! I need a beer break after that. 44.) Swamp Fox - 12/14/2017
LOL --- Touche.
But you know we're doomed as a society, right? :p 45.) bluecat - 12/29/2017

"I refer to every child as Chief."
LMAO! 47.) Swamp Fox - 12/29/2017
LOL--I'd never seen the extended cut before, but the "chief" comment is my favorite in the version running here.
"Now I know what a me-me is." --- LOL This is also classic. Reminds me of an old college buddy of mine. Called everybody chief. Jock. Chicks loved him. His name was even Marc, .. 48.) DParker - 12/29/2017
LOL! I hadn't seen either of those. Clearly I need to watch more TV.

this is going to be my new purchase this spring, ive been researching..i have my eye on the lifetime king fisher 56.) Swamp Fox - 02/10/2018
LOL ...
Do you mean the Sportfisher? If you're buying to fish from, I'll just throw out this litle bit of advice:: Buy a kayak designed with fishing in mind, and have it in your head where you want to mount your accessories (including rod holders) and store gear (tackleboxes, bait, lunch) before you make a final decision. No matter what you buy, you're liable to spend a lot of time and some not insignificant money rigging it the way you like, so start with something workable. 57.) crookedeye - 02/10/2018
king fisher sport fisher..there all the same..yes i'll bungee a milk crate in front it already has rod holder maybe bring a bass rod and a panfish rod ..i just need to find a spot to store a 6 pack..
58.) crookedeye - 02/10/2018
i should be able to sneak in the trees with it..
59.) crookedeye - 02/10/2018

60.) crookedeye - 02/10/2018
a swivel seat and working on my tan, is probally the two most important things..
61.) Swamp Fox - 02/10/2018
LOL ... I have some strong opinions and some pro tips, so if you want to chat, let me know. :-)
I would definitely have a layout in mind and sit in any fishing kayak I was thinking about buying before pulling the trigger. If you can do a test paddle, even better. 62.) Swamp Fox - 02/10/2018

If you can stand up in it without immediately capsizing it, can it even be legally called a "kayak"?
70.) bluecat - 02/13/2018

If your name is Swampy and can load all of your firearms in it and not capsize it, can it even be legally called a "canoe"? 72.) Swamp Fox - 02/15/2018
CE: If you have to deal with a lot of open water and/or wind you will want a different kayak than otherwise. If you are on protected water, you can be a bit more carefree with selection. If you are in-between, leave yourself some room for pedal steering or electric propulsion if you are serious about fishing. If you are on open water, going paddle-only is an art and won't work for every fish, LOL.
What I'm trying to say is that if wind is an issue, you need a kayak or a fishing style which minimizes the impact. 73.) Swamp Fox - 02/15/2018
I've had unfortunate accidents in most of the known water vessels : Pirogues, punts, kayaks, canoes, jonboats, bassboats, skiboats, cabin cruisers, shrimp boats, coastal patrol boats, destroyers, battleships, pirate ships ...
I'm pretty much a watery-grave disaster waiting to happen for any firearm that I even look at ... 74.) bluecat - 02/15/2018
