I listened to a sports radio talk show host make a statement that I thought was interesting. He was talking about the Oklahoma vs Ohio State game on Sat night (great game btw). He said most people didn't think OU could win that game because of the young coach and his inexperience. Talk show host, Damon Amendolara, said that if Bob Stoops had been coaching that game OU would have lost. Bob was so conservative in his play calling that typically OU loses those big games.
I'm interested to see if OU can continue to rumble. They looked good.

nebraska needs a more kinder coach. one that listens and praises academics...one that gives out hugs and smiles and pats you on the back....itll give the university a much more respectable vision to the rest of the universitys..
what a joke NU has become they hire mike reilly that had maybe a 500 record at oregon state, then reilly goes and recruits a loser QB from tulane..this is all after they got rid of a guy that had at least 9 wins a season and shown some fire..

Did anyone see the Texas or Ole Miss games? I should have made a note of it at the time so I wouldn't be blanking on which game I'm talking about now, but here we are ....
I'm leaning toward it being the Texas game because I remember the play as pretty decisive. It was a pass over the middle in the red zone finally ruled incomplete but initially picked up by the defense as a fumble. I think it was a clear fumble but the announcers predictably went mute after the ruling and I see nothing about it in the press this morning, which is weird because it gave the offense the extra play they needed to finally score to either go ahead or tighten things up. I do know whichever team fumbled went on to win, so ...
Anybody know what I'm talking about? ---LOL

I think I still have some skunk scent from 1983. It's the kind that you have to mix two solutions together to make the scent. Next time I'm over at storage I'll have to go looking for it because this reminds me I haven't seen it lately. I had some good experiences with it, and some funny ones. :-)

I've always thought it was a little weird when a team under performs and they fire an athletic director. Coach and players are doing great but that athletic director is really responsible for those losses.

I'd rather be watching the Gamecocks and the Aggies. Much better game, but I gave up the SEC channel. Wouldn't be surprised to hear Bama is paying ESPN big bucks, LOL.

A lot of guys who smoke their clothes use pop-up blinds for containment. You can also get a zippered clothes closet from Walmart or wherever for $30-100.
