My 2017-2018 TX hunting+fishing license and public lands hunting booklet arrived 2 days ago, the 10-day weather forecast is finally calling for highs below 90ºF (albeit by only a degree or two) and lows in the upper 60s/lower 70s...and doves become fair game 9 days from now.

I can't hit a frisbee tossed in the air by a six-year old girl in patent-leather pumps, but I enjoy dove hunting every once in a while. I think I like the cook-outs more, though.
