WalMart is trying to compete with Amazon online, including acting as a cyber storefront for other vendors. One of the deals they've currently got is a sale by Ritz Camera on the "Ivation" (rebranded Maverick 733) remote thermometer with 2 probes for $14.99 w/free shipping and no sales tax.

I already have a spare, so I picked one up for my daughter since she's been talking about wanting to do some smoking on the grill I bought her last year. They seem to be slow on the shipping (it's scheduled to arrive sometime between Apr. 10-15). But for $14.99 out-the-door I'm not going to complain. 2.) billy b - 04/02/2017
I guess the sale is off, it says $69.95 now.

Well, crap! I posted right after I ordered one, which I did pretty much immediately after finding out about it. Sorry for the false hope. You can still get an M&P for cheap though. :-) 4.) billy b - 04/03/2017
I have a couple of spare extras but also I can't turn down a good deal.

Me neither. Hell, in retrospect I should have ordered 2 or 3 to give as gifts if nothing else. I'm just sorry I didn't come across and share it here sooner. 6.) Swamp Fox - 04/03/2017
I've noticed the price changes on some items at some vendors based on things like previous searches and decreasing inventory. There are other factors involved in "dynamic pricing" discussed here, and some good suggestions to make sure you don't get taken advantage of by a freakin' algorithm....LOL
