I don't watch a lot of outdoor TV, so I probably miss a lot...LOL...Not sure how common this really is or if TV distorts its popularity, but a recent Drury episode got me thinking.
What are some of the best or funniest names for deer, turkeys or other hunted critters you've heard, or can dream up? I'd have to think harder than I want to right now to come up with a list of my favorites, but the one that jumps out at me first is Can Opener, which was used on the show. I don't know if that's a unique name or not, but it struck a chord. Better than a lot I've heard. I know some people don't like the practice of naming animals we hunt, but don't be a hater...LOL...Okay, be a hater if it will spur discussion...... I know Crookedeye has matched wits with some famous, well-named beasts...I'd like to know the stories behind some of them...:p:p 2.) bluecat - 03/27/2017
There was a turkey awhile back that had a limp that we named Crinkle-foot.
There was a deer that was coming into my feeder that I named Gimpy. Haven't seen her for awhile. If I had cameras it would be easier to see them over and over again so I don't get to know them like some others. 3.) Swamp Fox - 03/27/2017
Crinkle-Foot's a good name. How long was he around?

It was a turkey we saw on a trip. Never got a chance at him.
