I need some ideas:

Think of something that functions like a bendable drinking straw (with the bendable portion not limited to one small area), maybe something like corrugated tube (such as you use for protecting electrical wires, but which will hold a shape when you bend it), or something like those rubberized heavy-duty twist ties that you can bend every which way. I need something several feet long, or twistable into lengths in that neighborhood. I'm looking for something 1/2- to one-inch in diameter and not sure I can find plain old wire that big anywhere easily.

It also needs to be relatively light-weight.


There's such a thing as bendable aluminum rod sold in kits for various things, but I haven't done any research on where I can find some by itself, or in what lengths.
