Who has anything good, bad or indifferent to say about treestand hanging brackets they've tried or looked at?

I'm also interested in finding systems, whether proprietary or universal, that might be new/newish that I'm unaware of, so if you simply know of one, give me a lead even if you don't have an opinion on it.

One new or newish one is from Hawk, and that looks very beefy but the MSRP is on up there. Their site is down for a "planned upgrade" so check with them later...LOL...:re:

(Who does planned upgrades that shut your entire site down? Sounds like the New Business Prevention Department is exerting its influence in the conference room. There was another hunting or outdoor company that did this about a month ago...Or maybe it was Hawk still or again. I'm not sure which is more self-defeating: this, or the recently more-and-more common (strategic?) practice of running out of inventory for months at a time---Muddy is a prime example of this, but there are several others I could think of if you gave me a minute.)

I've always liked the idea, but for some reason it seems like the industry has been slow to embrace it.

Probably an issue with the plumbing in the bathroom where the server is kept. Or...maybe I'm thinking of someone else's IT practices.

I can only think of two---maybe three---things.

One: The lawyers are scared of people leaving brackets to deteriorate in trees, which seems dubious since they won't make chain-on stands anymore in the first place...Damn near everything is nylon strap and has been for a while. So what's the gripe?

Two: Companies don't believe people will pay for a good bracket when they are already so stingy about paying for a good stand. I have a lot of serviceable and beyond-serviceable stands I bought in the $50-100 range. How many goobers are going to pay $40 or 50 or 60 per bracket, which is what some of them go for, for the privilege of stomping around the woods moving stands a little bit more easily in the middle of the season?

There's a third possibility I'm not qualified to fully explore since I only have one of these systems (Lone Wolf) and I don't even remember ever using it as intended. Seems to me that for a bracket to be a good idea, the stand would have to slide into it/attach pretty easily. To me, this means that there would have to be at least a little slop. You couldn't have fighter jet tolerances to fit two parts together hanging 25 feet up a tree. People would be struggling. Can you tighten up the slop after attachment? I guess you could. But do they let you? Or do you have to monkey-rig something yourself?

Somebody fill me in, because these are the kind of things that keep me up at night.
