1.) Swamp Fox - 01/04/2017
Swampy, you might want to start an arrow thread too. I'd be curious what people are using these days and why. I just switched and am working on a set of Goldtips now.
Don't say I never do anything around here. And, What?...Your typing finger worn out for the new year already? :tap: LOL Don't make me announce my retirement..."I'd like to spend more time with my family..." :bk: 2017 is the year I let everyone else catch up with my post count... Not exactly a New Year's resolution as much as a swing-of-the-pendulum kind of thing...Maybe. We'll see. I know Luv2 probably has a couple of posts left in him before he gets too crotchety even for his own self, for instance...:fire: But anyway...:wink I'd also be interested in anything new in the arrow department, but I think my next step when it comes time is CE BLU RZ as the successor to my Blue Streaks. I'm open to suggestions though. It's been a couple of years since those caught my eye. I'm also still very heavily invested in Beman ICS Hunters, so nothing's gonna change there. Don't think that spending more time with the cats is the answer. I know better. btw, how is li'l bluecat doing? Are you feeding her enough. She looks a little thin to me.
i kinda like the looks of the new g5 deadmeat broadhead..
I might look into these as well. I have some of the old G5 mechs from before they started messing with them, and like them a lot. They won't last forever, though. I haven't picked up on all the differences and similarities yet, though. Maybe somebody will do a post on that, LOL... http://www.archerywire.com/releases/392313/?platform=hootsuite
The Dead Meat mechanical broadhead is constructed from super-tough machined 100 percent stainless-steel to make contact and keep driving deep. Three heavy-duty blades produce unrelenting results by creating a gaping 1.5-inch cutting diameter for short and heavy blood trails. The design of the Dead Meat is highlighted by the all new SnapLock retaining collar that creates an audible "snap" when each of the three blades is locked securely in place for flawless flight. The SnapLock collar features an integrated clip that marries with a tiny knob on the back side of each blade for quick and secure blade retention. Never again worry about poorly-seated blades or in-flight deployment.
|
