I started making a wood shed from what was left of my load of pallets after the bonfire a few weekends ago. I got some crap from a bunch of whiney liberals about the crazy amount of things you can do with pallets and here I was burning a few hundred. It was actually a good wakeup call because I needed something to keep the firewood dry and this is just the thing. it is also the perfect drying spot since the air can go thru. The only thing I will do now is sink a 4x4 into the ground at both front corners to stabilize the structure.

(the near panel isn't screwed down, need to trim some of the pallet first) 2.) luv2bowhunt - 10/05/2016
Swampy could use that design for a deer camp.

Luv2, you know that's built better than 80% of all deer camps in Pennsyltucky.....

There you go. That's a great idea.
I've often felt I could put some pallets to good use if I had an easy way to get them and transport them, but never thought of something like that. That's brilliant for several uses. Luv2--I have a 18x20ft industrial canopy on a tall aluminum A-frame at my camp that's held up great for something like six or seven years. It's just now starting to tear at a far corner after fending off high winds and heavy rain and intense sun etc. all that time. This is probably its last year. If anyone's interested in something like that for themselves, I'll find a link. They make smaller sizes, but this one worked out great for me. |
