hey everyone new that game was to start off the season..fresno state is alot better than you think.. if NU can sneek past these next few games they have wiscousin then ohiostate back to back away from home i think they'll manage to pull off a win in at least one of those games ..tommy armstrong is a stud..

I think Fresno State makes it to the bowls fairly often. Also that there's a current or recent NFL quarterback from there? Or a good player in some other position.

Whenever I hear "Fresno State", though, I hear "I knew I should have made a left turn at Albuquerque!"

Explaining Georgia's problems away, speaking of their quarterback--- (I know he's a freshman, but it's not like they just plucked him out of Art History class and threw some pads on him):

In the same game, speaking of Georgia's DB Quincy Mauger, who recently spoke out that the Anglicized way announcers were pronouncing his name was incorrect, one of the announcers explained that Mauger's parents were from "Haysha" (presumably spelled "Haitia") in accordance with the French theme Quincy had wound them up and turned them loose on. A second later he pronounced it properly as "Haiti" but didn't mention what shade of red he was turning.


It made me think that Obama might make an entertaining sports announcer, since he's getting to that age where he needs to find a successful career before it's too late. I just hope he doesn't have to learn to announce in Austrian.
