...and dill pickle popcorn. Strangely enough, it seems to work.

Neither. I grew up (a matter of opinion, I know) drinking Bud, Milller, etc...just like everyone else. But in 1991, when the microbrewery thing was taking off in the Pacific NW I moved to Portland, OR for a year on a consulting contract. It was there that I first learned what beer really was, and that the rice-infused piss water I'd been drinking since high school was a pale imitation of the real thing. I don't care if it's brewed by a grizzled veteran of multiple foreign wars who killed 50 men with his bare hands, or an effeminate hipster...or who else drinks it. I've learned to enjoy brews that have both rich flavor and some balls...so to speak. The stout in question is just such a brew, made from dark roasted barley and choice hops, finished to 9.1 % alcohol by volume. Budweiser? Coors? Millier? "Beers" for old ladies and smalll children. No thanks.

That looks incredible. Have you ever seen or tried Sweet Baby Jesus chocolate peanut butter porter? It's incredible but not to be consumed all night!

Never heard of it...but it sounds just weird enough to be good. I'll look for it on my next run to the brew store.
