1.) Dan-o - 01/01/2016
Spent four days between Christmas and New Year's holiday hunting in Texas with Roger Harn with Rafter H Outfitters. Had a blast despite the really cold temps, blizzard conditions for the first half of the hunt, and lower than normal deer movement. On the day that we had "normal" weather, my buddy Billy saw 60 deer from the stand in one evening.
I spent the first two days bowhunting and self-filming and was able to take this nice Texas 8 point.

After I tagged the buck I spent time with my buddy Billy filming his hunt. Got some great footage of him taking a doe with the rifle. I also kept my rifle handy and took out this big 225# boar, which ended up being the only pig we saw on the trip.

Finally, on the last day of the hunt, Billy was able to film himself tagging a nice buck.

Had a great time in Texas for my first Texas deer hunt. I'll be back for sure!
Rafter H has great property about an hour from Abilene Texas. We hunted multiple ranches in the area and it was a great getaway. Very reasonably priced and Roger keeps you fed with great food and has a great camp.

Thanks! Nothing really special. Pic was taken with the iPhone and then auto enhanced with the touch of a button.
