I think during this prime time, it's more likely hunting pressure that depresses movement than any lack of desire to move. I have certainly been through "nocturnal ruts," but after enough seasons to have some perspective, never felt there was a lack of buck motivation during daylight.
Outside this period, I think warm weather and bright nights do encourage nighttime activity to the detriment of daytime. I'd love to see this same data for a rut period that matches up with medium and heavy hunting pressure, such as we have here. 3.) Wild Bob - 11/19/2015
