Nice write-up.
Just think how much more you enjoy having a hunt foiled by coyotes than by mountain bikers, house dogs or fighter jets. :wink 3.) luv2bowhunt - 10/27/2015
Great story Bob, think of the memories you're making. Hope it works out for you guys soon.
Just so you know the difference between your rifle hunting for deer and the rifle hunting here, the small yearling buck would have been shot by someone in the first coulee, the does would have been shot by the second, and the big buck would have been shot 2 weeks before rifle season by someone with a crossbow. Other than that, we share the same experiences.:wink 4.) Swamp Fox - 10/27/2015
LOL...
And now we can all go home for the day...:-) 5.) Bob Peck - 10/27/2015
I thoroughly enjoyed your writing and your story Bob. So many tactics and obstacles that are foreign to me as a North-easterner and Mid-Atlantic hunter.

No sir, it is open country; that was why I added the picture, so you could get a feel for what that country is like. |
