So my oldest son is in band. He is a freshman this school year and he plays the tuba.

This year he came home from school the second day and told me and my wife that his band teacher told him he is really needed on our school's Marching Band. (The school only has one senior that plays the tuba, and my son is the only younger tuba player in the school, so the MB really needs two tubas...OK, I'm thinking, fine and good for him to be part of that anyway.)

So here's the part that makes me laugh; our High School is known as the 'Scotties' after the town being named for a City in Scotland. And yep, all the marching band members wear Kilts and traditional Scottish outfits. :laugh::laugh::laugh:

His little brother just loves giving him grief about wearing a Kilt!! :grin:
