It has been awhile since I have posted anything. Just to busy 7 days a week. But I bought this Tru Ball HBX because I like a back tension style release, Especially for competition. At first this release confused me and was a little hard to get used to. It won't go off until the hinge opens from the pull and rotation of the back. But after awhile I got real used to that. Even when I feel I have done a bad shot, it seems to land in the yellow. I have beaten most of my scores at distances past 50meters. I would recommend anybody that is a competition shooter, to get ahold of one of these and try it. It is the best Idea I have ever seen in a release. It really makes you hold on the target. I let one of my students borrow mine. He is just starting out and was shooting in the low 200's before with his release. He shot mine and ended in the 260's . He is presently saving money to buy one. Now if I could just figure out how to get away with using it on my olympic recurve set up.:hb:

Between work teaching martial arts, and teaching my J.o.a.d. archery group, I am running 7 days a week. Not much time for much else. In fact I am on my phone in line at the archery park to reserve a couple of bails now. I am so involved with the kids I don't even get to shoot that much
