Is turning out to be alot more difficult than I thought.
I'd like to get maps and info, all the stuff that's usually in the ranger station on the Jessup River area.
I can't even find a hiking map.
Still haven't heard from the Forest Ranger. Been 2 days. Dec phone #'s seem to not be in service.

I'm not even sure I can legally carry a side arm if it's not hunting season.
Even though it's state land there might be some boundary/park type regulation.

What a pain.

Wi-Doe-Maker over on Eders lives in the Adirondacks...Don't ask me what part. It's all Canadia to me.

Maybe he can point you in the right direction, though. PM him and he'll get back to you relatively quick-like.
