Now Floyd may have went to Ranger training, that is unbeknownst to me. If so, then that would equally as hard.
As for texas desk vs nc desk, im sure they are equal as well.

Never watch it. Can't stand it actually. The art of boxing has been lost in this wrestling/kung fu/street brawl combo.

I suppose I could take it if they stayed on their feet, but as soon as they grapple I'm out. Also, part of the skill of boxing was the 12 or 15 rounds you had to prep for. All strategy and training for that is lost now.

I'd rather watch 'Hook and Look' than the UFC.

Im hoping one day the World Champion light heavyweight would agree to fight the World Champion MMA LH. Fight of year im thinking. Jonny "bones" Jones is one tough dude at light heavyweight right now. He excells at standup, and is a master of Muay Thai fighting. He rarely goes to the ground.

Luv2, there is a whole training process you will need to go through along with an internship. For you, there will also be a 12-step program, transactional analysis, ink blot tests, background checks, CPR, Iowa Basic English test, blood tests, urine tests, dream interpretation, physical fitness tests and of course anger management. GSP is going to win. Diaz has been beating others but few of which are top fighter. He has lost to fighters that GSP has had field days with. I have always said those that are quiet and respectful are the ones to be affraid of. Those that act the way Diaz acts are nothing but bark. I personally know a few fighters, ie. Ken Florian, Chael Sonnen and a bunch of local talent. Quinlan that is on Ultimate fighter. GSP has the fear and respect of most fighters in the UFC>. I have ties in MMA from back in the day when I competed but that was before the UFC took off.

I kind like Chael now that he is on TUF this season. I still cant find any reason to think that Jonny J wont beat him to an inch of his life when they fight tho.

It wouldve been awesome if mma was popular 25-30 years ago. Martial arts and kickboxing has always been of interest to me. Boxing is too, just not in the same class IMO.

I've never bothered watching them either. But last week we were in Arlington for one of my son's symphony performances. Afterward we took him and one of his friends (and his girlfriend and his mother) out to eat at a Buffalo Wild Wings. They were playing one of the MMA-type cage matches (don't know which organization) and there were very few punches or kicks thrown. Almost the entire match was just two half-naked sweaty guys rolling around on the floor with their legs wrapped around each other trying to get some sort of positional advantage. It was the gayest thing I've ever seen....and mind you, I've seen [I]Glee[/I].

I assure you 2 minutes into a ground exchange with a moderately trained individual with a Brazilian Jujitsu, Sambo, Judo, or Historic Catch Wrestling background.
