CE, think about you and me heading up an expedition. Forget all the town hall meetings, the Pay Days (lame), cooking bacon, FLIR cameras, control centers, Girl Scouts, fireworks, whale sounds, tree knocks and re-creations. We just get all the firepower we can muster (no double barrel shotguns) and go straight for the kill (using super duper extra high capacity magazines). We can live off the sale of the stuffed carcass.

I think these bigfoot guys are a bunch of amatuers. They're just now figuring out how to call and hunt from trees? We could do a whole lot better.

But forget about Bigfoot. I have an inside line on a genuine freak of nature. (No, it's not just that I have BZ's phone number.) Anyone interested in searching for the Lizard Man of 'Scape Whore Swamp should contact me pretty soon. With turkey season coming up fast, I'm scheduling Blast and Cast trips right now. Usually the "cast" part is drowning minnows in the afternoons after not blasting turkeys in the morning, but for you all I am willing to stow the fishing rods and try for some plaster casts of Lizard Man tracks.

I'll tell you right now that you should have at least basic compass skills and be able to digest a variety of foods. Also, if you have any special needs like tons of cheap T-shirts from the beach or really good, semi-dangerous or politically-incorrect fireworks that you can't get anywhere else, please give me as much advance notice as possible so that I can arrange the schedule for maximum enjoyment.

When that happens to me, my favoritie call is to the nearest grill so they can have my breakfast ready when I get there, LOL.

They were strutting at Camp Swampy this week. I was there moving some treestands around and freshening/starting some licks while the weather was good for a few days in a row (finally!). I had to sneak the long way around one field they were using every day, all day. They never moved much from the one spot, and I didn't hear any calling (I wasn't out first thing in the morning, though, but I expect there was some gobbling...This is usually a decent time for it.)

i even didnt get to watch lasts night grand finale. i have it dvr though, so dont give it away...i'm sure they did somthing different this time..you wouldnt think they went into the woods for the billiouth time and started screamin and yelling like a bunch of morons..
