it's been 6 weeks now that I've been cut off from the outside, all that snow overwhelmed my 1600 ft. up hill driveway, only passable now by ATV or snowmobile :bang: so its been an adventure getting supplies, but we have a bit of a break with temps finally above the freezing mark so tomorrow i'll try to open it enough for 4WD OR suv's , all I got is an ATV with a plow it just doesn't have the weight to push 3 plus feet of snow but I keep chipping away at it, eventually i'll get the driveway open again :re:

Thats why I gave up on the plow here and switched to a 2 stage snowblower. You just cant push that much snow with a plow. You either need a front-load tractor or a blower.
The blower has made life so much easier here. True its slower on 6" or less of snow... but its almost faster when we get 1, 2, 3 feet or more.

deerminator was able to make it up my driveway today after I pushed back the snow banks :tu: it turns out he is the first to make it since the 2nd week of January :wink of course I have a front wheel drive car so I will still have to depend on friends and family for supplies for a few more weeks. at least they can get to me and I don't have to run supplies up from the road on my ATV :tu:
