As the proud owner of an all steel commander size 1911, I'd say an aluminum frame commander sized 1911 wouldn't be too bad to carry :-)

Sounds like there's a story there...:wink Unfortunate canoe accident, or late night trip to the rug store and then down to look at the river? 7.) Floyd - 02/09/2015

Huh...Heard of them, don't know much about them.
29 oh-zees is pretty light for an almost 4-inch bull barrel 1911, as far as I know. Unusually so, correct? That's down into compact territory. Achieved by polymer grip, aluminum frame plus whatever else, I guess. This may be the first polymer-grip 1911 I've come across...Straighten me out if this too is not ultra-unusual. The grip is Officer-dimensioned, or something in-between? I didn't go diving into the site, so sorry if that's a lazy question. 9.) Deerminator - 02/09/2015
