My wife is not going to be very happy with me...I just bought a friend of a friend's .416 Taylor! :hb:

I've always wanted one, and the opportunity was there, so I jumped on it. Custom built on a 60's era Mauser action, laminated stock. Can't wait to play with some loads for it...guess I got my winter night activity ahead of me now!

Thanks all, I don't have too many pictures, but I share the two that I have. My buddy is shipping it from his home in Alaska, I hope to actually have it within a week.

(I can always build another more traditional stock for it SF...and that doesn't sound like a bad idea either. There are also some other minor mods, or details that I'd like to work on to make it mine. But I kind of like laminated too...)
