Finally got my Dead Center Stabilizers back from the Cerakoting place. Got them cerakoted in the tungsten pattern to match the riser. Made the switch to Carbon Express Pile Driver Pass thru extreme arrows this year as well. Dialed in to 70 and liking the bow so far. Headed back out to CO August 14-19 to kill another Antegoat!!

Anyone else care to post your setup and hunting plans for the fall?

Kenny, did Strother hook you up with their/a cerakoting place to match their finish or is that finish more common than I know? Your previous picture(s) showed it off really well.

I don't know why their website doesn't display their colors/finishes. They have some really good ones, but you'd never know. You can't see them.



Of course, there's always the possibility that I'm doing something wrong...:p


I'd post pictures of guns and bows on the internet, except that I lost them all in a horrible canoe accident...

I found from Strother who they used for cerakote and called them up. Had Dead Center drop ship plain stabs to them to coat. Then I assembled all the parts....which wasn't hard. Yes, they do have some cool colors available this year with the Cerakote process. The finish seems to be as good as the regular kolorfusion process as well.

Lookin good Dan-O my man! I never did find my game plan sling. I think its on the mtn in CO somewhere. Maybe an elk is chewing on it. Or possibly that damn bear that came crashing thru the elk herd as I was about to shoot.

Hey. What's your final verdict on whether he's the same one you had coming in the following year? I can't remember whether you thought it was a definite yes or not. And that big kill you sent me a pic of...That was not him, correct? Maybe the huge one we saw walking away near where you killed?

I don't think the one I missed in 2012 was him. He had a huge resemblance tho. The one I did kill in 2012 definitely wasn't him tho. I don't think any of dans snipers got either one of those giants tho. Love to know what happened to them. I may go back in 2015. Not hunting NE this year at all.

Swampster, I couldn't find the kill pic of the huge 8. here is the video clip of our trip out in 2011 tho. Thought maybe u may want to reminisce about that big boy again. :tu:
