yep it's leather. Hand made amish hat that I have worn the crap out of for 2 years.
It keeps the rain off my face and bugs off my head while I am working on the farm. Its been covered with dirt, shit and blood and it always cleaned up nicely.
I dont like the new preformed fake hats everyone wears these days. Hats shouldnt melt if you put them too close to the wood stove!
Though to be honest my black hat has been pretty much replaced with a new one. Also leather.
Not really as much porn star look now unless it comes with a bluegrass soundtrack.
Care to show us what you/re wearing CE? :P

lol.. if you've ever tried to grab and hold a 2 month old piglet you would know that you grip like an SOB as those little demons are all muscle.
We got the castration routine down pretty good though. All the piglets get transferred to a holding cage first. Before all the screaming stops.
Then we pull em out, give them the antibiotic shot and back to momma if its female... (helps shut momma up)
and on the table if its an unlucky male.
2 people hold the legs (damn those things are strong) while one does the cutting.
3-5 min per pig and they are done and back in the pen.
You do 10-15 pigs in a day and you feel it in your neck and shoulders later.
