As much as we've been bombarded by the word "commonsense" in the media lately, usually as part of some left-wing propaganda talking point, what it's used in connection with generally makes anything but sense. And it's all too uncommon for us to be treated to examples of public officials, at all levels, demonstrating that they have any capacity for common sense, so it's extra notable when we do get to see one:
Ammo falls out of teen’s pocket at ORHS Thursday: Boy had been target shooting with dad; no charges brought A student makes an honest, harmless mistake and no one in charge reacts stupidly to it. Astounding. 2.) Deerminator - 04/02/2014

He was an "upper classman" according to the article. I bet he has good grades and is an honorable person. It also stated he went target shooting with his father. This leads me to the conclusion he has an involved father in his life. The message they should put in the article is that if you are an honorable reliable teenager people will honor you back. That message should reach other teens that really need to here that message. Glad this teenager is getting the right message from everyone. If he was not an honorable teen, maybe the results would have been different. JMHO

I am utterly astonished that they didn't over-react. Unfortunately, we live in a world where an act of common sense is astonishing......
